GAPPP Lab-Concert #03 at IEM, Graz

February 08, 2017, 6pm – CUBE, IEM Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics, Inffeldgasse 10, 3rd floor, 8010 Graz, Austria
Three new works will be presented in a lab-concert on February 08 to an audience, that will afterwards be invited to give feedback on their impression of those works. The works are by Kosmas Giannoutakis, Christof Ressi and Simon Katan. A first version of Katan's work has already been investigated as part of the Lab-Concert #01. In this concert the complete work will be presented. The participating audience will be asked to fill in questionnaires and/or to participate in a focus group interview. Participants of the survey will receive a compensation of Euro 25,-. Those who will also take part in the interviews will receive a total compensation of Euro 40,-. If you wish to participate in the survey and/or interviews please get in touch with Susanne Sackl-Sharif at: susanne.sackl-sharif@kug.ac.at Questionnaire and interview are conducted in German language.

Concert: Trans: Denken mit Klang

November 12, 2016, 8pm - Kulturzentrum Minoriten in Graz/Austria
A concert which features works that have been created as part of projects of Artistic Research with contributions by Gerhard Eckel, David Pirro, Hanns-Holger Rutz, Barbara Lüneburg, Kosmas Giannoutakis and Marko Ciciliani. As part of this concert three works from the project GAPPP will be performed: the revised version of "Audiodromo" by Marko Ciciliani, as well as the premiere of his "Atomic Etudes", and a slightly revised version of Kosmas Giannoutakis work that has been part of the Lab-Concert #1.

Marko Ciciliani: Portrait Concert, performed by Ensemble This | Ensemble That

As part of this concert the new work "Audiodromo" by Marko Ciciliani will be premiered. "Audiodromo" is the first work that has been created as part of the research project GAPPP. It is based on a game design and specifically investigates simple interfaces, inspired by the often rudimentary controls of game consoles.
